Scottsdale, rebates, air show and isolite

Good morning, happy Friday and hopefully May is going great. Personally, we are winding down another school year and gearing up for LOTS of summer camps and swimming. Everybody told me how fast these school years fly by, and they were correct! Some fun stuff coming up and a couple other things to get out there.

First off, registration is open for the Solea summit in October in Scottsdale. If you’ve never been, it’s their version of DS world in Vegas. It’s fantastic education and the accommodations are at The Phoenician. The cost is $695 to go, and I figured out a way to credit that to you if you would like to join. There are already a few signed up so looking to build on that and have a great couple of days. I’ve attached the flyer and reach please reach out if you’d like to attend.

Next, a few people have asked me about DS WORLD in Vegas this year. Registration is open, but we don’t have our golden tickets yet. If you plan to go, please give Vince or I notification and we will make sure let you know as soon as we get discounted registration.

Looking to upgrade some surgical instruments? TBS is offering a 10% rebate from May 15th through the end of this month. It will be a credit on your account and can be on top of free goods! I’ll automatically run a report at the end of the month, so there is nothing you have to do. Katie Werts from TBS does an excellent job of walking you through the product line and you could email her hereor call 908-244-3890.

Sticking with TBS, the Jason Ford course is filled with a waitlist. If you’d like to go, please reach out directly so I can monitor the cancellations.

Use Isolite? We aren’t quite selling their full product line YET, but you can get the hoopla retractors through us and get your discount. HERE is a link.

Wanting to go to the St. Louis airshow in Chesterfield on June 6th and 7th?  As many know, our branch is at the base of the airport and we have some of the best views. We’re going to block off our parking lot for customers that would like to be here. Bring the family, packSolea Summit 2026 Immersion Experience Invitation.PDF a cooler, put up a tent, but all are welcome to watch from our branch.

Some exciting news regarding technical service. We’re going to launch remote support and it should become a standard service option available to all customers eventually. Sometimes calls are pretty simple and they’ll be a number you can call for the technician to easily fix it for a small flat fee, and if they can’t, you’re not charged anything and they’ll send out a Service Tech technician. Our other Technical options are still available, this will just be an add-on for customers that would like to start here. St Louis will be the first to pilot this option.

Have a wonderful weekend and reach out if I can help with anything!y recommend Buffer.com for scheduling Instagram posts and Canva.com for easy graphic design creation.

Not to leave out Hygiene and front office. For Hygiene, Acteon is sponsoring a nice virtual course on scaling and root planing and Hu Friedy is doing a live CE course on Air Polishing

Our friends at St. Louis Dental connection are bringing in Katherine Eiel Belt to talk about the “Lioness principal: unleash the potential in your practice, your team, and in your life.” This would be a great course for the whole dental team. More info or to register HERE.

I received a handful of free Candid cases for people that haven’t tried it yet. If you have a team member that would like to do a clear aligner case, let me know and I’ll get it set up for you.

Lastly, we recently had Tru Abutment training. If you’re not familiar with Tru Abutment, they specialize in custom CAD/CAM custom abutments among other things. If you have questions or would like to learn more in general, please let us know. You can buy Tru Abutment through Patterson now, so you’ll be able to get your discounts, rather than buy Direct. If you’re buying standard Sirona tiBases and abutments, it’s worth looking into.

One interesting thing that just came out in Chicago is their T- marker. It’s a photogrammetry solution that uses iPad or iPhone technology to accurately locate multi-unit abutments for full arch surgery. I’m going to attach the flyer. It’s a very cost-effective solution that works well for people doing a few all on surgeries per year.

Hopefully, you found some of that information interesting. I tried to stick to the highlights as there is so much going on and endless specials and new items. If you have any questions or anything I can help with, please reach out!

Thanks,

Matt
