Good afternoon, hope you’re having a wonderful March, and the week has started out great! April is the end of our fiscal month, so there’s lots going on right now. Thought I’d get information out there before my life is filled with Easter egg hunts and rainy days.
First off, the end of our fiscal year means the end of spring financing on Friday, April 24th. Orders need to be invoiced before that, so most things that need to be ordered and built are challenging (think Adec operatory equipment), but pano’s, sensors, and sterilizers are all still available. Rates are between 0% to 4.95%.
Next, as expected the Dr. Jason Ford course is filling up quickly and we’re over halfway full. Quick recap, it’s a hands-on course on Friday, June 19th on biologics and ridge preservation. Normally, TBS charges $295, but our branch is covering that for our advantage customers. This course will be sent to quite a few more clinicians on Monday, so anyone who would like to sign up please do HERE.
Moving on, Clear To Launch shared with me the content calendar for the month of April. It is handy to have if you’d like to do your own marketing or a mix- Facebook, Instagram, etc. Lots of good ideas HERE. To make life easier, they recommend Buffer.com for scheduling Instagram posts and Canva.com for easy graphic design creation.
Not to leave out Hygiene and front office. For Hygiene, Acteon is sponsoring a nice virtual course on scaling and root planing and Hu Friedy is doing a live CE course on Air Polishing.
Our friends at St. Louis Dental connection are bringing in Katherine Eiel Belt to talk about the “Lioness principal: unleash the potential in your practice, your team, and in your life.” This would be a great course for the whole dental team. More info or to register HERE.
I received a handful of free Candid cases for people that haven’t tried it yet. If you have a team member that would like to do a clear aligner case, let me know and I’ll get it set up for you.
Lastly, we recently had Tru Abutment training. If you’re not familiar with Tru Abutment, they specialize in custom CAD/CAM custom abutments among other things. If you have questions or would like to learn more in general, please let us know. You can buy Tru Abutment through Patterson now, so you’ll be able to get your discounts, rather than buy Direct. If you’re buying standard Sirona tiBases and abutments, it’s worth looking into.
One interesting thing that just came out in Chicago is their T- marker. It’s a photogrammetry solution that uses iPad or iPhone technology to accurately locate multi-unit abutments for full arch surgery. I’m going to attach the flyer. It’s a very cost-effective solution that works well for people doing a few all on surgeries per year.
Hopefully, you found some of that information interesting. I tried to stick to the highlights as there is so much going on and endless specials and new items. If you have any questions or anything I can help with, please reach out!
Thanks,
Matt
