Description:

A smile makeover is a complex treatment that requires deep understanding of smile design, occlusion, and teamwork—especially with a dental lab technician. While porcelain restorations are common, composite veneers offer a cost-effective and versatile solution.

This course introduces a modern injection molding approach using flowable composites and clear PVS matrices to simplify transferring wax-ups to the patient’s mouth. This technique is especially useful for newer dentists performing full mouth rehabilitations or smile makeovers.

Objectives:

  • Identify materials used in the injection molding technique
  • Understand a step-by-step method of injection molding
  • Identify use cases for the injection molding technique
