Good afternoon and happy Friday! It looks like a pleasant weekend so hopefully you have something fun planned. A few things popped up this week I thought people might be interested in- specifically with instruments.
First, we are looking forward to the AI Pearl evening this Thursday. We had some exciting news this week as we’re going to be able to offer 2 CE credits instead of 1. AI has been a hot topic, and this evening should be very informative so I’m hoping for a nice crowd. The registration says to let Jamelle know, but she’s off this week so you’re welcome to let me know if you’d like to attend. No charge and we’ll have dinner and drinks.
Next, the Hu Friedy recycling program is back. This is something I get asked weekly, so I thought I would get it out as soon as possible! They claim it to be better than ever and I agree there are some nice features. Basically you can recycle 60 instruments annually and get 5 free or for $199 annual charge you can recycle up to 180 and get 15 free.
Staying with instruments, American Eagle is running their buy 10 get 10 free promotion on instruments and it runs until August 15. If you’re interested in this, I can cross reference any instruments, but it’s a deal that’s typically highly anticipated.
Another promotion that’s done well is TBS’s new recycling program. It’s geared more towards Frings and elevators, but it’s been nice. You buy 4 instruments, recycle 4 old ones and you get 2 free ones. All proceeds from the recycling benefit the wounded warriors project.
Finally, we just got notification Patterson’s going to do a flash financing special through July 26. It’s going to be on all Dexis sensors and nomad handheld x-rays. It’s a pretty straightforward 0% for 12 months, but we don’t usually get this type of financing till the fall or the end of the year.
I’m hoping to announce two upcoming CE courses next week. We’re going to bring in a dental radiologist for one and a cosmetic dentist for the other- both have been a long time coming. Have a wonderful week and let us know if we can help with anything!
