Hello and happy Wednesday! Hopefully, you’re having a productive week and not feeling any September slow down. I’ve heard a tremendous amount of people heading down to the midcontinent this week so just a couple things to get out there beforehand.
First off, just a little bit about my upcoming schedule. As most know my love for Kavo handpieces, I’m fortunate to have been invited to their factory in Germany. I’ll be leaving this Saturday and returning on Thursday. I’ll be returning emails and phone calls, there will just be a time delay. If you need immediate assistance, you can always call the St. Louis branch at 314-595-1300 or Jamelle at 314-595-1306. Hopefully, I come back with good information to share.
Quick note about the midcontinent. If you go by a booth that works with distribution (like Patterson) and you bill it through Patterson, if for some reason it’s not what you expected or do not like it, it doesn’t matter if it’s open or used- we’ll get you a refund on it. I’m also happy to run around with anyone or go talk to manufacturer reps.
Next, a few fun midcontinent specials. As mentioned in my last email, Clear To Launch is the official social media and website partner for St. Louis Patterson. They came out with some specials. We asked them about that. I think people will be happy with. I’ve attached that information, but HERE is a quick one-minute video with Joe explaining.
Moving onto Ivoclar. If you’re a CAD/CAM user and like their zircad prime, feel free and visit Dan Nortrup at his booth. They have buy 25 refills, get 7 free, buy 10 get 3 free, buy 4 get 1. They also have a special on their programat CS6.
Debbi from Voco has a ton of different show specials. Honestly- too many to list, but if you love Voco’s products she would be worth a visit.
Recently, we’ve had quite a few people switch to Air Techniques clean stream suction line cleaner. They’re running specials on that at the midcontinent and I’m sure Ryan Swift would love to see everybody.
I love Kavo handpieces, but Nsk’s are great also. They will be there and have a buy 2 get 2 free on their Z 99L. It’s a fantastic Handpiece. They also have a special on their surgic pro 2 where if you buy one, you get the osseo 100 free (which is the old penguin). It’s a great unit and would be something I would look at, especially for the implant stability integration.
These were just a couple interesting ones I saw, but everyone should have good specials and I’m happy to negotiate a little better with the reps if you want to stock up on anything or try something new.
DS world in Vegas. Vince is currently working the booth at Patterson and is going to send me a list of new things coming out tomorrow. Three of them I’m aware of is katana zirconia one for implants, a new block from dentsply Sirona called Circon 4D and a TBS new master restorative kit. I’ll have more on this soon. We also touch on this at the local DS world in St. Louis, the one in Columbia and Cape Girardeau. Those can all be found HERE, with lots more.
