Good morning, just a quick note that I was indeed picked for Jury Duty. I guess it should be a compliment that I was one of 12 picked out of 60, but it is going to make for a long day! Just a couple quick notes on some neat products that have recently come out or are coming out.
Optibond 360 came out yesterday from Kerr. They have an introductory 2+1, but some key points are:
*Can be used as a primer for Emax and Zirconia
*Flip-top drop-controlled bottle
*Can be used with any universal resin cement in dark/wet mode
*More clear than scotchbond
*Has a high amount of HEMA for desensitizer
3M Clinpro Clear Fluoride has a new water-based formula that isn’t supposed to be sticky. You can find more details here, but the initial feedback has been great.
Next, NSK has their new Z2 air-driven handpiece which is the highest-rated handpiece ever from Dental Product Shopper with a 4.9 rating. If you want to demo it and like it, they are doing a buy one get one free.
Finally, Clotene’s new endodontic handpiece, Canal Pro X-Move, has gotten rave reviews. It has a reciprocating option so it can be used with almost any file and has a built-in apex locator that people have liked. If you’d like to see one or demo it, please let me know.
