Do you want to improve the endodontic care you provide for your patients? This half-day hands-on course is designed for general dentists to help them improve the quality of their root canal treatments. Participants will learn advanced NiTi rotary-reciprocation instrumentation, and predictable irrigation protocols using ultrasound and Apical Negative Pressure irrigation. Warm vertical obturation using the Continuous Wave condensation technique and the hydraulic technique. Other topics will include the location of calcified canals, the creation of a glide path, the determination of working length, and the location of the MB2. This program highlights solutions and suggestions on how to treat straightforward and some complex endodontic cases. This hands-on workshop utilizes 3D-printed teeth and is designed to enhance the clinicians’ practical skills.

Speaker: Thomas Jovich, DMD
About The Speaker: Dr. Jovicich is the owner of West Valley Endodontic Group located in Encino CA. He has been in clinical practice since 1988. Over the years he has been on the faculty at USC School of Dentistry and UCLA School of Dentistry, both in the undergraduate and graduate endodontics departments. In addition, Dr. Jovicich has been on the advisory board for Sybron Endodontics, Kerr Endodontics. He has helped developed and test numerous instruments and protocols in modern endodontics. Dr. Jovicich has published numerous articles on clinical concepts and techniques in Endodontics. Dr. Jovicich has lectured around the world. He has been teaching and helping others in the endodontic field for over 20 years. In his spare time, he is an avid hiker, skier and private pilot along with being the father of two college aged children.
