Are you ready to master extraction techniques that reduce complications and boost patient satisfaction?

Join Dr. Jay B. Reznick as he explores common complications in dental extractions, from managing multi-rooted teeth and dense bone to handling anxious patients. This Virtual Clinic session provides evidence-based techniques to minimize tissue trauma, address fractured roots, optimize sedation, and prevent post-operative issues like dry socket and infection, helping clinicians enhance both their surgical skills and patient outcomes.

Objectives:

  • Understand how to minimize trauma to bone and soft tissue during extractions for improved healing and patient comfort.
  • Learn strategies for managing complex extractions, including multi-rooted teeth, fractured roots, ankylosed teeth, and impacted third molars.
  • Gain techniques for handling retained root tips and navigating challenging anatomical conditions like sinus proximity or curved roots.
  • Explore sedation options and pain management protocols to improve patient experience and procedural efficiency.
  • Prevent and manage post-operative complications such as dry socket, infection, and delayed healing.
  • Learn proper instrumentation selection and flap techniques to ensure safe, efficient, and atraumatic extractions.
