Dr. Sperling is a second generation dentist\, he graduated from Javeriana University Dental School in Bogota\, Colombia in 1992. Mentored by his father Dr. Thomas Sperling a renowned orthodontics professor and international speaker\, Dr. Hans developed a passion for dentistry and teaching very early on in his life. \nDr. Sperling attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1991 to conduct research and again in 1993 when he studied Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Sperling was also trained in Oral Rehabilitation by taking part in a year- long preceptorship program with Dr. Edgar Mafla\, DDS\, MS. In Bogota\, Colombia. \nFollowing his American dream\, Dr. Sperling emigrated to the U.S with his wife and infant daughter in 1997 where he attended Tufts University in Boston\, MA. Dr. Sperling graduated from the International Standing program obtaining his U.S accredited DMD degree in 1999. He and his young family then moved to South Florida where he has been practicing dentistry ever since. \nDr. Sperling has had ample experience in the corporate aspect of dental practice as well as in private practice. He worked as an associate general practitioner and as a regional clinical dental director for a large corporation for several years. This experience allowed him to interact with numerous general dentists and specialists across all areas of dentistry and further his knowledge and understanding of the practice of dentistry. \nDr. Sperling acquired the Dental Care Center of Hollywood in 2007 where he practices general dentistry with a comprehensive approach. \nHis philosophy is to care for people\, not just teeth\, and to deliver outstanding dentistry in a caring way. Dr. Sperling believes in continued growth both personally and professionally and has taken numerous CE courses over the years\, particularly in the areas of oral surgery\, implant dentistry\, orthodontics\, restorative dentistry\, dental laboratory\, sleep dentistry and dental practice management. \nDr. Sperling enjoys performing the surgical\, restorative and laboratory part of a comprehensive treatment while making the process more efficient\, affordable\, effective\, and reliable for the patients. \nDr. Sperling has held teaching positions at the Colombian School of Medicine Dental School\, the Colombian College of Dentistry and the University of Florida Dental School – Hialeah Dental Center. He has been a speaker for Implant Direct and lectured nationwide on the fields of implant dentistry\, digital dentistry and ridge preservation. \nDr. Sperling works along with his wife Jeaninne to whom he has been happily married for 31 years. Jeaninne manages the practice and is the “quality control” officer\, she truly wants for all of the patients to look and feel their best. They have two wonderful daughters and enjoy spending time together.
