Olive and Oak, amalgam recycling, and Dr. Neal Patel

Good morning, happy Wednesday! Looks like the week’s about half over, hope you’re having a great one! Personally, we started school yesterday for all the girls and next week most of the sports practices begin. Just a couple quick things to get out.

I recently created a business services flyer just to make things concise in regards to what we offer. Quite a few of them are at no cost. While dropping it off, one of the things I’ve been most surprised about is the people are interested in the metal refining. If you’d like me to drop off a collection jar, please let me know and I can send it off whenever it’s ready. It goes directly to a refiner, and they promise bigger payouts or they’ll give you a quote and send it back in a little metal bar.

Next, I received confirmation that Dr. Neal Patel will be here on Friday, December 12. It’ll be similar to the Jay Reznik course in that will do a group dinner the night before if you’d like to attend. I’ll have a flyer soon, but the course material will be different than Dr. Reznik and that it will be focused on restorative, not biologics.

Recently, I’ve had some questions in regards to the HG5 amalgam recycling canisters in offices. A lot of people think they should be changed once a year, but that’s really dependent on your office, how busy your hygiene is and just how many operatories are cycling through that canister. If it goes too long without being changed when it’s supposed to, I can back up and ruin the whole unit. I’m happy to come in and take a look and show you what to look for or change the canister out myself if you’d like me to.

Lastly, reservations are now live for the local DS world, and both Columbia and Cape Girardeau. Vince sent out an email yesterday and I will replicate that below, but all should be very informative and interesting evenings.

Have a great day rest of the week and reach out with anything.

Thanks!

Matt

From Vince:

We are extremely excited to announce that Patterson St. Louis has been selected to host alocal DS World at the beautiful lecture venue at Olive and Oak (Webster Groves) on November 6th. We are bringing in CDOC’S own Dr. Anthony Ponzio to lead us on this educational event!

There are several new unannounced product releases and updates that will be important to understand such as Connect Case Center discontinuation, DS Core functionality training, new CEREC equipment releases, new CEREC materials/workflows, Prime Ecosystem, Primescan 2 updates, 3D Printing updates, and much more!

As you probably already know, Connect Case Center is being discontinued in November. That makes this a great opportunity to get some training on DS Core, be prepared for Connect Case Center’s sunset, and understand how you can use it to your benefit. It unlocks massive benefits such as sharing scans/reports with your patients/specialists, patient monitoring, ortho simulation, cloud storage, design services, and so much more!

See the full event invite and register HERE. You can also register by responding to this e-mail. $0 for no CE or $75 for 3 CE. Event starts at 6PM.
